we're subject to all data from the Real

but we can only perceive the points expressible through the language

even though some points are expressable they can be in unconscious realm

you can not express what's solely in unconscious if you lack the necessary structure to express it in your conscious
but even if you can't express something it can be in your salience landscape if it's connected to an expressable point (this is how signifiers work)
